Women Cell/SPARSH
The college has established a women's cell to bring awareness among female
students in the field of sensitization, health hygiene and the role of women in
society etc. The college women's cell works actively on the college campus to
encourage women's empowerment in society through the young generation. For this
purpose, every year, a women's cell committee is formed in which students, as well
as staff members are involved to run various activities related to health,
education and society, so that they may excel in society.
We celebrate International Women's Day every year, based on the theme of
the year, to sensitize society to the importance of women and their
contribution to society. Various guest lectures are organized regularly on
different issues like women's hygiene, and women's rights to aware female students in the
present scenario.
Besides these guest lectures, women's cell committee of the college also actively
engaged in conducting counselling of female students on the campus related to their issues as well as any other grievances. The female students also take
active participation in academic and cultural activities. These activities help to
bring out their potential and to build confidence.
